8 Weekly Meetings

The Founder
Dr. Neil Nedley is a board-certified internal medicine physician and president of Nedley Health. For over 25 years, he has researched the connection between lifestyle factors and mental health, developing a program that addresses the root causes of depression and anxiety rather than simply managing symptoms.
His approach is grounded in peer-reviewed science: the foods we eat, how we move, how we sleep, and the quality of our relationships all have measurable effects on brain chemistry and emotional resilience. The program he created translates this research into practical, accessible tools for everyday people.
"Depression is not a character flaw. It is a treatable condition with identifiable causes — and lifestyle medicine is one of the most powerful treatments we have."Dr. Neil Nedley, MD — Nedley Health
8-Week Curriculum
Each session builds on the last. By week 8, you'll have a complete, personalized toolkit for lasting mental wellness.
Understand the scope of depression and anxiety, how they affect the brain, and why lifestyle medicine offers a powerful path to recovery.
Explore how the prefrontal cortex governs mood, decision-making, and emotional regulation — and how to strengthen it through daily habits.
Discover the direct link between what you eat and how you feel. Learn which foods support serotonin, dopamine, and overall mental wellness.
The research is clear: regular physical activity is one of the most effective antidepressants available. Learn how to make it sustainable.
Poor sleep amplifies depression and anxiety. This session covers sleep hygiene, circadian rhythms, and practical strategies for deep rest.
Identify your stress triggers and build a personalized toolkit of evidence-based coping strategies — from breathing techniques to cognitive reframing.
Isolation deepens depression. This session explores the healing power of community, meaningful relationships, and a sense of purpose.
Bring it all together. Build a personalized, sustainable recovery plan you can carry forward — with the support of your cohort and facilitators.
